Dutch bark ship Jan van Schaffelaar launched at Capelle a/d IJssel, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 30 April 1855

An item dated Rotterdam 27 April reported that the 26^th the campanje bark ship Jan van Schaffelaar of 400 lasten was launched at the shipyard of P. Bakhuyzen en Zoon at Capelle aan den IJssel for H. Hartog of Rotterdam with as captain H. van Hees.
