British firm Mitchell Engineering investigating possibilities building nuclear submerged oil tankers according to the Dutch newspaper Gereformeerd gezinsblad dated 25 March 1958

An item reported that according to the British Construction firm Mitchell Engineering Ltd, nuclear submerged oil tankers were not longer a fantasy. The firm thought that in the future submerged ship trading was efficient and profitable and she intended to investigate the possibilities of constructing fast submerged super oil tankers even as large as 100.000 tons.
