Buoy tender Pathfinder built at Zuidbroek, Netherlands for Pakistan according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwsblad van het Noorden dated 22 March 1963

An item reported that on the Eems the new buoy tender Pathfinder performed her trial. She was built by the Grols Scheepswerven N.V. at Zuidbroek for account of the Inlands water Transport Authority at Pakistan. Her length was around 44 metres. Fitted out with 2x337 hp engines supplying a speed of around 10 knots during the trials. Further more were in the engine room five auxiliary engines available (2x60 hp+3x87hp). The newspaper Leeuwarder courant dated 21 September 1962 reported that she was baptized by the spouse of the 1st secretary of the embassy of Pakistan for which special water was flying over from the well Zam-Am from which water Ismail which drank.
