Cutter dredger Mbarak built for Kuwait at Amsterdam, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf dated 5 February 1977

An item reported that at the shipyard of IHG Verschure, Amsterdam, Netherlands the cutter dredger Mbarak was launched. She was built for account of the Gulf Dredging Company of Kuwait and to be delivered in June and to be used in the Arabic Gulf.
