Dutch company Doeksen bought former German tug which was renamed Bornrif according to the Dutch newspaper Friese koerier dated 23 December 1963

An item reported that the Dutch shipping company Doeksen bought a tug from the German cabinet. With the dimensions 21 x 5,5 metres was she fitted out with a 360 hp engine. She was at that moment lying at Den Helder but would be brought to Terschelling and renamed Bornrif. In advance she was to serve on the Waddenzee mainly for the drilling oil companies.
