Dutch tug Tyne became Philippine tug Stanford according to the Dutch newspaper Het vrije volk dated 28 December 1968

An item reported that the Dutch motor tug Tyne of the N.V. L. Smit&Co’s Internationale Sleepdienst Rotterdam via agency of Supervision was sold to the Philippines and renamed Stanford.(1) The in 1944 built tug was last Friday to the new owners delivered and now underway to Manilla.

1. With a tonnage of 386 gross tons. Launched on 16 May 1941, seized by the Germans on 16 July and on 7 July 1944 still uncompleted as the Marienburg of the German Kriegsmarine taken away. On 29 September 1945 returned she to Rotterdam, was repaired and the same year commissioned. Finally sold to the Luzon Stevedoring Corporation, Manila and on 5 January 1975 beached on the northern part of South Islet, Tubataha Reef where she was broken up.
