Liberty ships loaded with coal underway to the Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Veritas dated 24 August 1945

An item reported that captain R.H. Evans who represented the U.S. War Shipping Administration Office in the Netherlands announced during a press conference that around half September Liberty ships loaded with coal coming from the USA could be expected in the harbour of Amsterdam.
