New Soviet shipping line started between St. Petersburg and Vladivostok, Russia according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 13 December 1928

An item reported that within some days the steamship Decabriste would depart from Hamburg, Germany towards the Far East as the first ship of the new direct line of the Soviet merchant marine started between St. Petersburg via Hamburg and other North Sea ports towards Vladivostok.
