An item referred to the foreign magazine Schiffbau dated 8 October 1924 no. 25 reporting that to the Italian naval shipbuilding program of 2 small cruisers, 4 destroyers and 4 submarines another 8 destroyers, 6 submarine cruisers and 4 minelayers were added.
