British destroyers HMS Bullfinch and Dove sill not accepted by the Royal British Navy according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad 1901-1902 no. 4

An item referred to the magazine Army and Naval Journal reporting that the British destroyers HMS Bullfinch (1) and Dove (2) launched in 1898 still not performed according to the contract demands. They were now to be fitted out with new screws. Leaking Belleville boilers caused a failed trial of the Bullfinch.
