An item dated Rotterdam the 28th reported the sale of the
Dutch steam tanker American to the Belgian firm Soc. N. Belgo-Caucasienne at Brussels and her renaming
in Belpetrole. She was built in 1892 by Palmers&Co. Ltd., Newcastle, England
with a tonnage of 2.526 gross and 2.266 net tons.
