Fop Smit received concession for a towing company at Scheviningen, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper De Tijd dated 28 December 1904

An item reported that according to well informed sources the Dutch firm Fop Smit asked for a concession to start a steam towing company at Scheveningen, Netherlands in advance with the tugs Wodan and Zeeland.
