The Russian 3-decker Derbent armed with 110 guns,
was 7 October launched at the most important Black Sea harbour. She was of the
Seppings-design. At the launching the keel was no more than one inch sagged.
The keel of an 84-gun ship of the line was laid down. The spelling of the name
is in Dutch; I didn’t try to translate it in to the Russian equivalent.
