The launching of the Russian ship of the line Rusland in 1836 according to Dutch newspaper Zierikzeesche Courant dated 18 March 1836

The news came from Berlin 6 March stating that the emperor and the grand duke laid down Konstantyn the keel of the ship to be named Rusland. Her dimensions were (206 (waterline) x 57 (beam) x 54 (height), and to be armed with 48pdrs and mortars of a heavy calibre. The spelling of the names is in Dutch; I didn’t try to translate them in to the Russian equivalent.
