Households of workers at navy yard at Flushing transported to Willemsoord according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated Tuesday 4 March 1862

An item reported that last Thursday arrived at Flushing the paddle steamship Zr.Ms. Cycloop (1) and that she departed Saturday afternoon towards Willemsoord with on board 76 households of which the men worked at the navy yard. A large number of workmen were transferred to Willemsoord. While there was not yet a house for many households available were they temporarily accommodated on board of a floating battery.
