Paris,
12 July. The goelette la Torche commanded by Lieutenant Legoarant captured 3
July the Spanish privateer la Beata Catalonia Tomasa with a crew of 22 men and
4-4pdrs, 4 swivels, 20 rifles and some sables. The privateer left end of June
Mahon. The la Torche arrived 4 July with her prize at Toulon and left
immediately again to cruise for more privateers.(1)
