The Greek navy seizing merchant ships off Patras according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 9 June 1823

Augsburg, 3 June. The newspaper Allgemeine Zeitung published a news item dated Trieste 17 May. According to this item the 4 large Greeks ships cruising off Patras and while intending to return to the Archipelago sighted 14 ships flags of several countries loaded with war stores and victuals trying to enter Patras. Twelve ships including one of Alexandria, Egypt were seized and send to Missolunghi.
