An item dated London the 11th reported that Japanese warships joined the Allied forces in Europe.(1)

First World War (28 July 1914-11 November 1918 armistice) between Germany, Austria, Ottoman Empire and Bulgaria at one side and on the other side for instance Belgium, France, England, Russia and at the end of the war the USA. Japan was in fact al in the beginning involved in this war when she captured the German Asian colonies. She declared war on the German Empire on 23 August 1914, followed two days by Austria-Hungary.
