American whaler Onward arrived on 10 November 1864 at Honolulu according to the Whalemen’s Shipping List dated Tuesday 10 January 1865

An item referred to a letter written by captain Allen at Honolulu on 23 November 1864 on board of the Onward of New Bedford. She arrived there on the 10th returning from the Sea of Okhotsk with a total catch of 10 whales meaning 1.900 barrels oil and 26.500 lbs bone.
