Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. Leije arrived at Vlissingen, Netherlands returning from the Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Zierikzeesche Courant dated 14 October 1831

An item reported that on the 6th the Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. Leije arrived at Vlissingen, Netherlands coming from the Dutch East Indies. Underway died several crewmembers and further more were a lot of men sick on board.(1)

Schijt jr., stricken >1833-1834<, dimensions 36,5 (between perpendiculars) x 10,00 (inner hull) x 4,25 (fore)-4,82 (aft) x 5,39 (depth below maindeck), displacement 775 tons, 28 guns (20-12pd guns of 20-30pd carronades, 8-12pd carronades, 6-2pd guns).
