An item referred to a tiding dated Harderwijk, 27 May reporting the intended departure on the 28th of a detachment colonial troops numbering 100 men commanded by 2nd lieutenant Blank, accompanied by 2nd lieutenant Waleson, 2nd lieutenant of artillery Calkoen and 3rd lieutenant of health 3rd class towards Nieuwediep, Netherlands. There they were to be embarked on board of the merchant ship Macassar bound for the Dutch East Indies with the first favourable wind.
