Dutch brig Zr.Ms. Valk arrived at Willemstad. Curacao according to the Dutch newspaper De Curacaosche courant dated 11 November 1837

An item reported the arrival at Willemstad, Curacao on Tuesday 7th of the Dutch brig Zr.Ms. Valk commanded by captain lieutenant Van Lennep Coster coming from la Guayra, Venezuela.(1)

Glavimans in August 1822, launched 9 August 1824, docked at the navy yard at Hellevoetsluis, Netherlands 1820 October 1824&11-21 June 1827, 2 October 1832-4 August 1834 and 22 June-10 October 1840,condemned and stricken 1840, hospital ship to replace the Zr.Ms. Daphne 1841, served also in the Dutch West Indies, dimensions 29,8 (load line) x 9,2 (inner hull) x 3,4 (fore)-4,5 (aft) x 4,5 (depth below main deck) metres, displacement 465 tons displacement and an armament of 18 guns (16-30pd carronades, 2-6pd guns).
