Greenland whalers returning at Hamburg and Bremen, Germany according to the Dutch newspaper ‘s Gravenhaegse courant dated 26 August 1726

An item dated Gamburg, Germany 20th reported the arrival on the 19th from Greenland of Arent Barentsz Overbeek, zero. Hans Boyse with a cachelot, 30 quardelen, Roelof Bouse, Laurens and Jan de Haen zero, the Olifant one whale, 10 quardelen, the Zwarte Walvis zero, Harmen Kok none results, Tymen Pietersz 1 whale, 45 quardelen, Peter Riewerts, N. Nanning and Fredrik Riewertsz zero, Karseboom and R. Jacobsz each ½ whale and 18 quardelen and Pieter Bruyn … and 4 quardelen. Eight tot 10 whalers where still expected and ant at Breemen the Susanna, Gesina-Cecilia and Helena Margariat which seemed to have also worse catch results.
