American whaler Henry Taber arrived on the 23rd at New Bedford, USA according to the Whalemen’s Shipping List dated Tuesday 26th July 1859

An item reported that the bark Henry Taber captain Ewer (1) arrived at New Bedford, USA on Saturday 23rd coming from the Bay of Islands with 250 barrels sperm oil of the Hiawatha (2) for Thomas Nye jr.

Notes
1. Tonnage 355 tons, captain Ewer, shipping agents Henry Taber&Co., departed on 24 July 1856 towards the Pacific. She returned after a voyage during 4 years with the original crew except for one sailor still complete. Ewer was in the newspaper described as a model shipmaster.
2. Tonnage 381 tons, shipping agent Thomas Nye jr., departed on 11 October 1856 towards the Pacific.
