British warship Matthew 1539-1554

Perhaps the former “Matthew Gonson” taken by the crown after the suicide of Wm. Gonson, purchased in 1539 or bought in 1545, dropped circa 1554, a 600 tons builders measurement and a crew numbering 300 men.
