German tug Möwe underway from Germany towards Netherlands lost underway two barges according to the Dutch newspaper Schiedamsche Courant dated 26 March 1897

An item dated Pernis, Netherlands 25^th reported that the Dutch fishing vessel P.R. 5 master Van Vliet of Pernis entered the Nieuwediep, Netherlands with two sand barges found at sea 6 miles off Callantsoog, Netherlands. The barges were lost by the German tug Möwe underway from Hamburg, Germany towards Rotterdam, Netherlands.
