German tug Möwe underway from Germany towards Netherlands lost underway two barges according to the Dutch newspaper Schiedamsche Courant dated 26 March 1897

An item dated Pernis, Netherlands 25th reported that the Dutch fishing vessel P.R. 5 master Van Vliet of Pernis entered the Nieuwediep, Netherlands with two sand barges found at sea 6 miles off Callantsoog, Netherlands. The barges were lost by the German tug Möwe underway from Hamburg, Germany towards Rotterdam, Netherlands.
