French privateers captured British ship Rose according to the Dutch newspaper Haagsche courant dated 24 August 1805

An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 22^nd reported that two French privateers took into St. Martin the British ship Rose underway from Tobago towards Liverpool, England and she was now declared to be a prize.
