As the Kaikoura Saint Vincent and the Grenadines-flagged, homeport Kingstown, callsign J8B5011 and MMSI 37512900. Damen Push Buster 3511-design of which the hull was launched at Safe Engineering Services, Gdynia, Poland on 1 July 2009, hull arrived at Damen Shipyards BV Hardinxveld, Netherlands on 16 July 2009, completed there with yard number 571717, named DMS Starling, trials executed on 16-17 September 2013, handed over to Damen Marine Services BV (DMS) as Kaikoura on 11 March 2014. Fitted out for service as a pusher tug in the Port ofBronka, St. Petersburg, Russia on 28 April 2014.

Renamed Waterland beginning of May 2015, Netherlands-flagged, homeport Delfzijl, Netherlands, handed over in bareboat charter to Wagenborg Towage, Delfzijl with as call sign PCXA, IMO 9548902 and MMSI 244810401.
Gross register tonnage 614 tons, net register tonnage 184 tons, deadweight 429 tons and as dimensions 33,10-34,37 x 11,60 x 3,57 x 5,25 (hold) metres. Total horsepower of the 2 diesel engines 5.218 ahp at 1.600 rpm. Speed 11,6 miles. Bollard pull 66,2 ton. Winch pull 100 ton.
