Damen Push Buster 3511-design of which the hull was launched at Safe Engineering Services, Gdynia, Poland on 1 July 2009, hull arrived at Damen Shipyards BV Hardinxveld, Netherlands on 16 July 2009, completed there with yard number 571717, named DMS Starling, trials executed on 16-17 September 2013, handed over to Damen Marine Services BV (DMS) as Kaikoura on 11 March 2014. Fitted out for service as a pusher tug in the Port ofBronka, St. Petersburg, Russia on 28 April 2014.
Renamed Waterland beginning of May 2015, Netherlands-flagged, homeport Delfzijl, Netherlands, handed over in bareboat charter to Wagenborg Towage, Delfzijl with as call sign PCXA, IMO 9548902 and MMSI 244810401.
