German bark Ariadne coming from Mauritius arrived at Batavia, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Java-bode dated 7 September 1887

An item dated 6^th reported the passing of Oud Anjer [nowadays Anyer, Indonesia] by the German bark Ariadne underway from Mauritius towards Batavia, Dutch East Indies. Arrived on the 7^th at Batavia captain Segebode, shipping agents J.F. van Leeuwen&Co.
