Dutch paddle steamship 2nd clas Zr. Ms. Merapi stationed at Makassar, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 8 July 1859

An item dated The Hague, Netherlands 7th dealing with the movements of the Dutch squadron in the Dutch East Indies reported that the Dutch steamship Zr. Ms. Merapi captain lieutenant E.M.C. Baak was stationed at Macassar, Dutch East Indies included the responsibility for the communication lines between Macassar and the Trend of Boni, Dutch East Indies.(1)

Wolterbeek between 3 July-20 September 1856, stricken in 1863, dimensions 52,00 x 10,00 x 4,80 metres, displacement of 546 tons and an armament of 8 guns, decision dated 31 July 1840 to sing contract with the Ned. Stoomboot Mij. to deliver on 15 April 1843engines and boilers for ƒ 152.500,00, barque-rigged and 220 hp horsepower.
