Dutch warship Leeuwin(ne) 1615-1627

Of the admiralty Maze, called frigate and spiegelschip, mentioned as one year old on 11 February1615, captured by Dunkirkers in 1627, an armament of 22-30 guns (1615: (2-24pdr (halve kartouwen), 4-12pdr (field slangen/serpentines), 2-8pdr (bronze), 2-6pdr (bronze), 2-5pdr (bronze), 2-24pdr (Spanish chambered guns), 2-18pdr (chambered guns), totally 16 guns, and 6-8à9pdr (sakers) and 8 guns needing), a crew numbering 100-120 men and a tonnage of 200-220 last. In 1617 part of the 1617 in fleet commanded by rear-admiral Mooy Lambert off Moroccan coast.
