Dutch sailing lugger (ex-Balder 1912-1929, Oceaan I 1929-), Zeearend ?-1985) Balder VL.92 1985-

Launched at the shipyard of A. de Jong, Vlaardingen, Netherlands for account of the Vissers Maatschappij Mercurius on 13 May 1912. Used for herring fishery. Laid up in 1922. Sold to shipping company A. van der Zwan, Scheveningen, Netherlands in 1929. Lenghtened, fitted out with an engine and renamed Oceaan 1 and used until 1941 in the herring fishery. Seized by Germany in the Second World War, returned in 1945 to the Netherlands and again used in the herring fishery. Afterwards sold to the Sleephelling Maatschappij Scheveningen en resold to the Vereniging Beroepsonderwijs at The Hague, Netherlands. Renamed Zeearend and converted into a training ship for trainees in the trawler fishery. Bought in 1985 by the Nederlands Scheepvaart Museum, Amsterdam, Netherlands and restored in original appearance. Since 2006 of the Visserijmuseum at Vlaardingen.
