Crew consisted on 31 December 1880 of 67 (missing 3) Europeans and 23 natives (missing .Arrived on 3 April 1879. Stationed at the end of the year at Atjeh. Stationed until 11 February 1880 at Celebes, between 18 February-19 May at Surabaya, Dutch East Indies for repairing boilers etc. and to be docked, arrived on 5th June at the station Northern Sumatra to replace the Deli.
