American battleship USS Texas collided with merchant steamship Steel Seafarer according to the Dutch newspaper De Tribune dated Friday 14 September 1923


An item reported that the American battleship Texas (1) collided with a cargo ship on Wednesday morning off Point Arghelio, South Africa, USA, lucky enough with little damage.
