The American shipbuilding program, according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1917-1918 no. 6

An item reported that the American secretary of navy Daniels (1) announced the USA shipbuilding program. There were 787 warships varying from super dreadnoughts to anti submarine chasers to be built. The total naval budget was now 1.150.401.000 US dollars. Some ships were already some weeks ago completed. All efforts were done to complete the program.
