New Japanese armoured cruiser according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1910-1911 no. 5

Kongo-class

An item reported that the new Japanese armoured cruiser would have a displacement of 18.500 ton and to be armed with 8-30,5cm L/50 cal British model guns. She was to be completed in 1913.(1)

Note
1. The Kongo-class had a displacement of 27.941 tons and an armament of 8-35,6cm/14” guns. The Kongo was commissioned on 16 August 1913.
