Designed by Gerard Dijkstra based on the mid-19th century Dutch frigate Amsterdam. Steel-made hull. Laid down in 1997 at the Damen Oranjewerf, Amsterdam, Netherlands and launched 3 years later. Water displacement 1.038 cubic metres, gross tonnage 723 tons and as dimensions 60,5 (deck)-76 (over all) x 10,5 x 4,8 and a air draught of 46,3 metres. Her crew numbers 32 men. Speed 11 (engine)-16,5 (under sail) knots. She is used for training or as chartered passenger ship. She is in May 2013 refitted at Damen Repair Flushing, Netherlands. IM O 9185554, MMSI 246494000 and call sign PECA.
