Dutch guard ship Faam 1781-1785

Of the admiralty Friesland, frigate, a so-called uitlegger, bought in spring 1781, rebuilt, indicated as ‘Lands Uitlegger Fregat in January 1782 lying in the Vlie, last mentioned in 1785 or captured by French in 1794, an armament of 6-16 guns and a crew numbering 20-80 men. Commanded by captain Jan Vlielander in January 1782 and later that same year by De Bok.
