Japanese destroyer Umikaze launched at Maizuru, Japan according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1910-1911 no. 11

An item supplied the technical details of the Japanese destroyers of the Umikaze type. With a displacement of 1.170 ton were they fitted out with Parsons turbines and the 21.000 hp allowed a speed of 33 miles. The armament consisted of 2-10cm guns, 5-7,6cm quick firing guns and 3-45cm torpedo tubes. Three funnels. The namesake of the class was launched on 10 October 1909 at the war harbour Maizuru, Japan.

1. Laid down on 23 November 1909, launched on 10 October 1910, completed on 28 September 1911, converted into the minesweeper W-9 on 1 June 1930 and broken up by 1 April 1936.
