Japanese Minekaze-class destroyers almost similar tor British V-class destroyers according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1920 no. 3

Amagi-class battle cruisers

An item reported that the in 1919 for Japanese account built destroyers the six which were part of the Minekaze-class were almost sister ships of the British V-class boats. Displacement 1.345 tons, speed of 34 miles and an armament of 4-12cm guns and 6 torpedo tubes.(1)

Note
1. This class consisted of 15 1st class destroyers which were at the outbreak of the Second World War no more as obsolete and were hardly used for combat purposes but just for patrolling, transporting, as target ships or as suicide vessels called kaiten. Preceded by the Momi-class and succeeded by the Nokaze-class. Designed for escorting the never built Amagi-class fast battle cruisers. Speed 39 knots.
