British cargo ship Olive Grove torpedoed and sunk according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwsblad van Friesland dated 8 September 1939

An item reported that on 200 miles north west of the Spanish coast the British cargo ship Olive Grove was torpedoed. The complete crew was safely rescued by the American mail steamer Washington.
