Dutch oil tanker Semiramis temporarily grounded off Japanese coast according to the Dutch newspaper De Sumatra Post dated 24 July 1935

An item dated Yokohama, Japan 24th reported that the Dutch oil tanker Semiramis (5.792 tons) underway from Yokohama towards Kobe, Japan grounded off Hokosuku, Japan. She managed to refloat with own means. The Japanese authorities ordered her to return to Yokohama for examination along the fortifications of the Tokyo Bay.
