Swedish navy continued with building Blixt-class torpedo boats according to the magazine Mitteilungen aus dem Gebiete des Seewesens 1899 no. 1

An item reported the intended launching in 1900 of the Swedish torpedo boats Blixt, Stjerna and Meteor. With the building of the sister ships Orkan, Bris and Vind was to be begun. Armament was to be 2-4,5cm guns and 2-3,7cm quick firing guns.(1)
