An item dated Paris, France 2nd reported the arrival at Le Havre, France of the Brazilian auxiliary cruiser Belmonte. She was the former German mail boat Posen interned in the begin of the First World War and later required by the Brazilian government. Had an armament of 12 guns and a crew numbering 250 men.
