Pennsylvania-class
An item referred to the Moniteur de la Flotte reporting that the US Department of Navy definitively decided that the two next to be built battleships of the Pennsylvania class (1) were to be armed with 4x3-35,cm guns. Together with the Nevada and Oklahoma (2) would the US navy than possess a division of 4 fuel oil fuelled battleships with triple turrets.
Notes
1. Pennsylvania class consisted of the Pennsylvania and the Arizona, succeeded by the Nevada-class and succeeded by the New Mexico-class.
2. Nevada-class consisted of the Nevada and the Oklahoma, preceded by the New York class and succeeded by the Pennsylvania-class.
