The Bulgarian merchant river harbour of Lom according to an American CIA report dated 7 April 1954

An item reported that the merchant river harbour of Lom consisted of an area with as dimensions 2.500 x 700 meters. A part with as dimensions 400x40 meters was reserved for handling passenger traffic. The quay made of concrete blocks covered the whole length of the harbour. The harbour facilities consisted of stationary cranes with mobile booms and masonry warehouses and sheds.
