German Braunschweig-class ocean-going corvette 21st Century

The Braunschweig-class or Korvette 130 consists of the Braunschweig (F260), Magdeburg (F261), Erfurt (F262, Oldenburg (F263) and Ludwigshafen am Rhein (F262) built between 2004-2013, preceded by the Gepard-class fast attack craft.

With a displacement of 1.840 tons and as dimensions 89,12 x 13,28 x 3,4 metres or 292.5 x 43.7 x 11.2 feet. Machinery consists of 2 MTU 20V 1163 TB 93 diesel engines with a 14,8 MW horsepower allowing a speed of 26 knots and with a speed of 15 knots a range of 4.000 nautical miles. Endurance 7 days (without)-21 (with tender) days. Crew numbers 65 men. Armament consists of 1-7,6cm Oto Melara gun, 2 Mauser BK-27 auto cannons, 3 RSB-15 Mk 3 anti ship missiles, 2x21 cell RA CIWS missile launchers, if needed 2-34 Mk 12 naval mines racks and 2 unmanned Schiebel Camcopter S-100 aerial vehicles.
