An item reported that in Bremerhaven, Germany the new Kaiser dock was tested. The dock was built within 4,5 year with as dimensions 268 x 40 (entering space) x 11,5 metres. The ballast/floating tanks with a total capacity of 123.000 cubic metres could be with the centrifugal pumps each with 1-800 hp engine be pumped dry within 2,5 hour.
