British steam tanker British Commerce sold to be broken up in the Netherlands according to the Dutch magazine Schip en Werf dated 22 January 1937

An item reported that the British steam tanker British Commerce of 4.205 gross tonnage and built in 1922 was sold to Frank Rijsdijk’s Industrieele Ondernemingen, Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, Netherlands to be broken up. She was to be towed the same month from England to Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht.
