French submarines Narval, Marsouin, Phoque, Souffleur, Caiman and Morse be modernized according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1936 no. 3

An item referred to the Proceedings dated February 1936 reporting that the French submarines Narval, Marsouin, Phoque, Souffleur, Caiman and Morse stationed at Bizerte, Tunisia departed do shipyards alongside the Loire to be modernized. The boats were commissioned between 1926-1927, had a displacement of 1.000 tons, a surfaced speed of 16 knots and an armament of 1-10cm/3.9” gun and 10 torpedo tubes.
